Well, this week was a challenge because I completely forgot about the challenge until 10 PM Tuesday night.  Between having all 4 kids home this weekend, picking up at college and taking them back and wondering what Hurricane Sandy was going to do to us, I just forgot.  The kids had a great weekend and we were very fortunate that Hurricane Sandy didn't give us nearly as much as was predicted!

Here is this week's challenge and my card creation:

*doily *raw, unpainted chipboard alphas *clothespin

  I used handmade pinwheel, heat embossed background stamp and a homemade doily.  I'll use this birthday card for a gift the girls give to one of their friends.

Here is my take on this sketch:

 I was so excited when I say doily/scalloped circle on the list.  The doily dies I ordered from Scrapbook Steals.com had arrived the day the challenge was posted!! So,  I used a doily/scalloped circle, 3+ butterflies and washi tape.

Here is my design:

I used handmade banner, twine, 7+ solid & patterned papers, embossing powder with heat embossing and a border punch.

These are photos that were taken at Wildwood, NJ or clam shells we brought home and crabs Bekah found at the beach that we kept overnight and then returned to the ocean.  They were really cool crabs.

Here is what I did:

I used 3+ handmade flowers, "doily", pearls, 3+ patterned papers and a journaling card.  I used border and corner punches and paint.

I did complete the challenge on time but forgot to upload it to the website before the deadline so I am out of the competition.  I am going to keep doing the challenges for fun!

I used staples, twine, 3+ patterned papers, banner/pennant and a ticket shape.  My techniques were distressing (inking the edges and stippling on the white background) and edge punch on the ticket shape.
