Friday
Well, it was quite a busy end to last week and I didn't get to post.
So, here are some thoughts from the weekend.
Friday was spent at the book fair all day after the 2 hour delay.
Rich rearranged the schedule and we got all the kids in - so glad!
I worked it with Sandy which is always a great time. Bekah wanted
to ride the bus to school but I didn't have time to get her there. I told
her she could pack a lunch from Sheetz and she decided that was
definitely better than riding the bus. So, we went to Sheetz and she got
a ham sandwich with ranch dressing, chips and a bottle of juice. I got a
chicken breast sub.
Saturday
It was very cold. It was a great day. Bekah made me scrambled eggs
for breakfast with a piece of bread. Then we spent the day in our jammies
on the couch watching Hallmark channel romance movies and knitting!
It was so much fun. I love to watch Hallmark movies - Happily ever after!
Bill made lasagne casserole from the freezer for dinner.
Sunday
Again it is bitter cold! We went to church and then met the girls at Foxes
for lunch. Love the Veggie Wedgie! Then I went to Walmart to get a few
things we needed. I came home and knitted some more and watched more
romance movies. Bill and I fixed the recliner couch. Cheeseburger salad for
supper. Then I watched the end of the Packers/Bears playoff game.
The Packers are going to the Super Bowl. After that game,
the Steelers/Jets came on. Well, after a good game the Steelers are going
to the Super Bowl!! Third time in 6 years! Hopefully they will win - it
will be a tough game. The best part was that around 9:15 pm the phone
got a text and it was announcing a 2 hour delay for school! Sleep in time!!
